Camp Athena: March 2014
In honor of Women's HERstory month, F.O.R.C.E. and the Women's Resource Center will be hosting our annual retreat, Camp Athena.
Camp Athena provides an atmosphere for growth in areas of gender equity activism and a space for discourse on issues within feminism (e.g. theoretical differences in feminism, media and the representation of femininity, porn and sex-work vs. rape and human trafficking, religion and feminism, and the dark side of birth control).
This weekend retreat is open to all University of Arizona students, but space is limited so apply soon! The application and more information will become available closer to March 2014.
